Experience: Rachel is a Director at the firm, and is an experienced attorney who is passionate about her clients and the law. Prior to joining CYCN in 2016, Rachel acquired significant civil litigation experience in aggressively defending various Arizona municipalities and clients against a wide variety of cases involving product liability, general liability, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, construction defect, and professional malpractice. Her current practice focuses primarily on the defense of licensed healthcare providers and institutions.
Rachel is an indispensable part of defense teams that successfully litigate diverse claims. The scope of her experience includes preparing all aspects of and participating in the defense of clients during multi-week complex medical malpractice trials, handling case arbitrations, obtaining dismissals of claims and causes of action, prevailing on summary judgment motions, obtaining indemnity contributions for clients, and success at the appellate court level. While pursuing her law degree, Rachel served as Vice President of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board, studied abroad in Santander, Spain, served as a child and family advocate through the Whittier Special Education Clinic, and worked at the Orange County District Attorney's Office as a Certified Law Clerk.
